Kailua-Kona swimming pool reopening moved back

The Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that today’s scheduled re-opening of the Kona Community Aquatic Center (KCAC) has been pushed back to 8 a.m., Saturday, October 6. County Parks officials say a complex inspection intended to ensure peak operating efficiency is taking longer than expected to complete, and will prevent the swimming pool from reopening today.
