Kea`au is still looking for its first BIIF football victory of the year. The Cougars were beaten Friday by visiting Hilo High 24 to 6 as the Vikings improved to 3 and 1 on the season. Friday night’s other contest saw Honoka`a win for the 5th time in six outings with a 55-7 victory over Hawai`i Prep, who evened its record at 3 – 3. On Saturday, Konawaena handed Kamehameha its first loss of the season with a 16-3 victory over the Warriors, Kealakehe remained perfect on the season with a 26-12 win over Waiakea and Ka`u got its first win of the season at the expense of Kohala, which will forfeit its remaining games due to a lack of players.
