Police will take their public education campaign on laws governing county beach parks to Reed’s Bay today, where they will be staffing an informational booth from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Community Policing Section is joining with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Coalition for a Tobacco Free Hawaii and the Salvation Army Family Intervention Services to remind the public that the use of alcohol is prohibited along the Banyan Drive peninsula—including at beach parks—and that the use of tobacco is prohibited at beach parks.
Any groups or individuals who wish to participate in this community outreach project or
in future projects may call the Community Policing Section at 961-8121.
