Pohakuloa Training Area to open for weekend bow hunting

Pohakuloa Training Area will open several areas to bow hunting on Saturday and Sunday, September 29th and 30th. Training Areas 1-4, 10 and 11 will be open for mammal hunting between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. All hunters must check in at either the Kilohana or Huluhulu Hunter’s Stations, where hunting passes will be available after 5:00 p.m. today (Friday, September 28). No early access to hunting areas will be permitted and hunters must check out by 7 p.m. each day.
