Hawai`i gas prices stall upward climb

Hawai`i consumers found some relief at the pump during the past week according to the AAA Hawai`i Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline held steady from the previous week at $4.41, which was 13 cents higher than last month and 18 cents higher than last year. Hilo’s price actually declined by 3 cents to $4.39 a gallon, which was 12 cents more than last month and 8 cents more than this time last year.
