Vulcan golfers finish 3rd at Western Washington event

The University of Hawai`i at Hilo men’s golf team finished third at the 41st annual Western Washington Invitational in Bellingham, Washington. The host Vikings finished first with a score of 16-under par 848, while the Vulcans finished two shots behind runner-up British Columbia at 867. UH Hilo’s Corey Kozuma, who began Tuesday’s final round as the individual leader fired a 2-over 74 to finish in sixth place.
