UH Hilo soccer dealt double setback

The UH Hilo men’s soccer team is still seeking its first win of the season after being crushed 6-0 Saturday by visiting Fresno Pacific and falling to 0-4 on the season. The Vulcan women battled the visitors to a near standstill before Demi Hamilton’s goal in the 76th minute gave the Sunbirds a 1-0 victory that left the Vulcans with a 3-3 mark. The Vulcans return to action Tuesday against Notre Dame de Namur at UH Hilo Baseball Field with the men playing at 12:30 p.m. and the women taking the field at 3:00 p.m.
