Police arrest 26 for drunk driving

Police arrested 26 motorists for drunk driving during the week ending on September 16th. The year to date total now stands at 999, which is down 4.9 percent from the 1,050 nabbed at this time last year. Major accidents however, are up 4.5 percent at 1,040 compared to 995 a year ago. And traffic fatalities have spiked by 100 percent from 15 at this time a year ago to 30.
