Kona man found guilty of methamphetamine tracking

A jury has found a Kona man guilty on charges of methamphetamine trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. John Albert Wagner Jr. was arrested in December, 2010 when police executed a search warrant at his home in Kailua, where they recovered nearly
45.5 grams of methamphetamine, various forms of drug paraphernalia including a scale, and more than $11,700 in cash. At the time of his arrest, Wagner was on probation for methamphetamine trafficking and promoting a dangerous drug. Wagner will be sentenced on November 16th, by Judge Elizabeth Strance.
