Makaha shooting leaves man in critical condition

WAIANAE, Hawaii (AP) — A man is in critical condition and another man is under arrested after a West Oahu shooting. Police and emergency officials say gunshots were fired Wednesday night in Makaha, leaving a 27-year-old man shot in the face. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports it was followed by a drive-by shooting at a nearby house. Hawaii News Now reports a 23-year-old implicated himself in the shooting and was arrested on second-degree attempted murder. He was taken to the Kapolei substation.
