Gas prices rise for the fourth week in a row

Gas prices in Hawai`i increased throughout the state for the fourth straight week, according to the AAA Hawai`i Weekend Gas Watch. The statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded jumped by four cents from the previous week to $4.35. That’s 22 cents higher than last month and 24 cents higher than a year ago. In Hilo, the average price is $4.32 a gallon, up three cents from last week, 20 cents more than last month and 10 cents more than this time last year.
