HONOLULU (AP) — Officials say a three-day sweep by federal and local authorities has taken dozens of fugitives off the streets of Hawaii island.
The Honolulu Star Advertiser reports 67 people were arrested on Hawaii island this week by a task force made up of U.S. marshals, Hawaii County police officers and Hawaii state sheriffs.
The newspaper says those arrested were wanted for a variety of crimes including drug offenses, sex offenses, robbery and probation violations.
Among those arrested was 38-year-old Patrick Enos, who has a criminal record including robbery and felony drug convictions, dating back to 1991.
After he was taken into custody Wednesday, Enos was charged with theft of credit card data and unauthorized possession of confidential personal information.
