Vulcan Wahine tune up for season opening tournament

The University of Hawai`i at Hilo Vulcan wahine open up their 2012 volleyball season tonight with a 7pm match against Augustana College at the UH Hilo new gym. The Vulcans are coming off a 15-7 season that saw them post an 11-5 mark in the Pac West Conference, but are without star player Hillary Hurley who completed her eligibility last year. Following tonight’s contest, the two teams will join British Columbia and Nebraska-Kearney in the four team Vulcan Classic tomorrow and Saturday.
