Three arrested in gambling raids

Three people were arrested when police disrupted suspected gambling operations at three locations in Hilo following an undercover operation and tips from the public. Officers executed search warrants shortly before 2:00 pm Friday at Tilt Amusement Center, Da Little Game Shack and 777 Arcade where they seized 33 suspected illegal gambling machines and records and large sums of cash. 47-year old Paul Lagat of Kea`au, 50-year old Lance Yamada of Hilo and 39-year old Serena Valenzuela of Pahoa were all released pending further investigation.
