Hale Nani inmate escapes

A 32-year old Ka`u man is being sought by police after he allegedly escaped from a correctional facility in Hilo on Saturday.
Police were notified shortly before 11:00 p.m. that Dallas Wesley Runyon had left the Hale Nani Correctional Facility off Route 11 in Hilo without authorization. Runyon is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds with blue eyes, shoulder length brown
or blond hair, may have a goatee and mustache and has several tattoos including a gargoyle and dragon on his right and left forearms. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with “Inmate” printed on the back, along with grey sweat pants and shoes. If you
