HONOLULU (AP) — University of Hawaii football coach Norm Chow is expressing anger and disappointment after a third UH player was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving this year.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports punter Alex Dunnachie was arrested early Saturday morning and released a couple hours later after posting $500 bail. Chow says he will await an inquiry into the matter before commenting.
Quarterback Cayman Shutter and linebacker Alema Tachibana were arrested in March and June. Shutter pleaded no contest to DUI last month and was suspended for the first four games of the 2012 season. Tachibana is set to appear in court later this month.
