4th of July Road Closures

Tomorrow’s Hilo Bay Blast will result in a number of road closures in East Hawai`i. The first took place this morning at 3:00 a.m. when police closed Kumu and Bishop Streets, which will remain closed until 10:00 p.m. July 4th. Tomorrow, Bayfront Highway from Waianuenue Avenue to Pauahi Street will be closed from 6:00 a.m.
to 10:00 p.m. Lihiwai Place will be closed at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow and will remain closed until 10:00 a.m. July 5th. See the complete list of road closures below.

Kumu Street and Bishop Street
• Closed July 3rd from 3:00 a.m. to July 4th 10:00 p.m.
Bayfront Highway (Rte. 19) from Waianuenue Avenue to Pauahi Street
• Closed July 4th from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Alternate route is on Kamehameha
Avenue
Lihiwai Place
• Closed July 4th from 6:00 a.m. to July 5th 10:00 a.m.
