Aloha Maid coconut water with pineapple recalled

HONOLULU (AP) — Customers in Hawaii who purchased a canned coconut water and pineapple beverage from a certain date are being asked to return the drinks for a refund. Beverage maker Ito En USA says its canned Aloha Maid coconut water with pineapple purchased since May 16 should be returned. The company says the drink has an "off smell" and should not be consumed. There have been no reports of anyone becoming seriously ill from consuming the product. The voluntary recalls affects cans stamped on the underside with the code IHMAY0913. The UPC code is 8-35146-00818-3. Ito En is researching the cause.
