Kahele wins new round of endorsements

State Senator Gil Kahele’s campaign for the seat in Senate District One has picked up three new endorsements. The Ironworkers of Hawai`i, Laborers International Local 368 and the Sierra Club Hawai`i Chapter are the latest organizations to announce their support for Kahele. He earlier won the backing of the International Longshormen and Warehousemen’s Union (ILWU), Hawai`i State Teachers Association (HSTA), University of Hawai`i Professional Assembly (UHPA). Kahele faces County Council member Donald Ikeda in the August 11th Democratic primary
