The San Rafael Pacifics brought out the heavy lumber on Sunday as they pounded out a 12-1 victory over the Hawai`i Stars in North American Baseball League action on the mainland. The win in the finale of their three game series improved the Pacifics record to 11-7, while the Stars fell to 9-9 as ace Ronnie Loeffler suffered his first loss of the season. The Stars open up a home series this week against Na Koa Ikaika Maui beginning tomorrow evening at Wong Stadium.
