Ane Keohokalole Highway Opens for traffic on Saturday

The new Ane Keohokalole Highway in Kona, which runs north and south between Henry Street and Kealakehe Parkway, will officially open for traffic at 3:00 p.m. Saturday (June 23). Police are reminding the public that the speed limit on the new highway is 35 miles per hour and that the intersection at Kealakehe Parkway will be a four-way stop. Officers will be enforcing the speed limit and the four-way stop effective immediately upon the opening of the highway.
