Stars lose to Pacifics

Matt Alton launched the first home run of his professional career, and the San Rafael Pacifics banged out eight hits in a 5-2 win over the Hawai`i Stars Tuesday evening in North American Baseball League action in San Rafael, California. The final arithmetic left both teams with identical 8-6 records. The six-game series continues tonight at 4:15 p.m. Hawai`i time.
