Hawaii Stars beat the San Rafael Pacifics

Ronnie Loeffler tossed eight shutout innings and the Hawai`i Stars rediscovered their offense as the Stars posted a 5-0 victory over the San Rafael Pacifics last night in North American Baseball League action on the mainland. The win improved the Stars record to 8 and 5, while the Pacifics fell to 7 and 6. The two teams will continue their series tonight with a single contest at 4:15 pm Hawai`i time
