Iron siding stolen from Kawaihae Industrial Area

Police are investigating the theft of some 400 sheets of iron siding/roofing material from the Kawaihae Industrial Area. The material, taken sometime after Monday, June 11, is 24-gauge iron siding/roofing measuring 24 by 4 feet in blue and white sheets and valued at more than $50,000. Police ask that anyone who see suspicious or unusual activity in any industrial area call 911 immediately. Anyone wishing to share information that does not require immediate attention may call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
