Alaska Airlines adding seasonal service from Anchorage to Kona

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines will be adding seasonal service between Anchorage Alaska and Kona commencing November 10 and ending on April 7. Alaska's Kona flight will leave Anchorage on Saturdays at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Kona at 7 p.m. The return flights will leave Kona at 10 a.m. on Sundays and arrive at 5:35 p.m. The airline,which flies 20 percent of its schedule to Hawai`i, says the new service will complement its year-round daily service from Anchorage to Honolulu, and seasonal service from Anchorage to Maui that runs from November 4 through April 14.
