Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa says he doesn't plan to change his open door policy after a death threat from a knife-wielding man. Police say a 25-year-old suspect is under arrest after he told a woman he would use the knife to "murder the mayor." After speaking with
the woman outside the county building yesterday morning, he then headed up to Arakawa's office on the ninth floor. The woman called 911. Police arrested the man at his Wailuku home.
