More DUI arrests

The week ending June 10th, saw police arrest 17 motorists for drunk driving. Five of the drivers were involved in traffic crashes. One was under the age of 21. The year to date total is down nearly 3-percent at 630, compared to 648 last year. Major accidents are up over 7-percent from a year ago at 657, and traffic fatalities are up 27-percent at 14 compared to 11 at this time last year.
