Staffing issues cause temporary closures in Pahoa

If you need to renew your driver’s license or vehicle registration and live in Pahoa, you may need to make alternate arrangements. The Pahoa office that handles those services will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday, June 5th and 6th due to staffing issues. You can still conduct Driver License transactions at the Hilo Police station on Kapi`olani Street and handle Motor Vehicle Registration Services at the Aupuni Center on Pauahi Street.
