Dept Water Supply accepting Oceanview Standpipe applications

The Department of Water Supply will be accepting applications for the Ocean View Standpipe Facility from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 15th. Only 10 applications will be accepted. Sign-up will be held only in person at the main office at 345 Kekuanao'a Street, in Hilo. For more info call 961-8050. The following are required for the application. • The applicant must appear in person • Applicant must be current on all DWS account(s) • Applicant must be 18 years or older • Present a current and valid picture identification, such as driver’s license, state or military identification, passport, etc. • Pay the required fees totaling $532. see fees listed below (make check payable to: “Dept. of Water Supply”): Initial Standpipe Fee $407.00 Estimated Water Meter Install Fee 75.00 Credit Deposit 50.00
