Molokai bakery fined $90,000 for health violations

A popular bakery on Molokai was fined $90,000 for unsanitary health conditions. Molokai's Kanemitsu Bakery was hit with the penalty after a Department of Health inspection in March found that cooking tools weren't properly cleaned and sanitized, rodents weren't adequately controlled and other major problems. Kanemitsu Bakery has been serving up baked goods on Molokai for 80 years and was cited by the health department in 2000 for unsanitary conditions.
