Power outage in North Kohala early Friday morning

HELCO is reminding residents that there will be a power outage in North Kohala from Kapa’au to Pololu Valley tomorrow, Friday the 13th, from 1:30 am to 5:00 am while HELCO crews perform maintenance repairs within the Halaula substation. HELCO recommends unplugging any sensitive equipment prior to the outage. Customers dependent on electric powered, life sustaining medical equipment should make necessary arrangements.
