Hit-and-run victim dies

(Honolulu-AP) -- Honolulu police are seeking a van involved in a fatal traffic accident early this morning downtown on Nimitz Highway at Richards Street.

They say the white van ran a red light and hit a mo-ped driven by a 31-year-old Waikiki man. The victim was pronounced dead at The Queen's Medical Center.

According to witnesses, the van had license plates that started with ``B-F-6.''
