Hawaii says its marching band among 18 finalists

HONOLULU (AP) — The University of Hawaii says its Rainbow Warrior Marching Band is among 18 finalists in CBS's Hawaii Five-0 Marching Band Mania contest. Forty other college marching bands also signed up to enter a contest held in conjunction with the premier of the new "Hawaii Five-0" TV series. The band judged to have the best version of the show's theme song will receive $25,000 and have its video featured on CBS this fall.
