been shipped to Hawaii with 32 pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials identified the driver of the car who died in Friday's crash on the H-3 freeway as Marvin Edgar Burrow Jr.
According to court documents, Burrow was fatally injured while attempting to flee federal agents.
The officials say another man, Johnny Resendez Jr., has admitted sending the car from California on March 1.
They say Resendez picked up the car at Honolulu Harbor on Friday and delivered it to a man at a fast-food restaurant on Nimitz Highway.
The car was then driven to an Ewa Beach residence, before the chase began.
