UH Board of Regents picks executive administrator

HONOLULU (AP) — The University of Hawaii Board of Regents has appointed Keith Amemiya as its interim executive administrator and secretary. The 44-year-old is the former executive director of the Hawaii High School Athletic Association. In his new position, he'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing administrative support services for the board. Amemiya's term begins March 8 and is due to last one year.
