HONOLULU (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard has launched an air-and-sea search for a fisherman who is missing about 60 miles west of the Big Island.
Twenty-five-year-old Devon Johnson was reported missing Friday by his twin brother, Dennis.
Dennis Johnson told authorities he stopped the 34-foot Kealia and called for help when he noticed his brother wasn't aboard the boat.
A rescue helicopter and plane were on scene. The Coast Guard says two 110-foot patrol boats were also sent to help in the search.
When last seen, Devon Johnson wasn't wearing a life jacket.
