Nobriga crowned Miss Hawaii USA

HONOLULU (AP) — Renee Nobriga will represent Hawaii at the Miss USA pageant. The 25-year-old Nobriga was crowned Miss Hawaii USA on Monday night in Waikiki. Nobriga lives in Pupukea on Oahu's North Shore. She works as a sales associate and as a model. She graduated from Kahuku High School in 2002. Nobriga has an associate's degree in liberal arts from the University of Hawaii. The winner of the Miss USA pageant moves on to the Miss Universe contest. (Copyright 2009 Associated Press.
