HONOLULU (AP) _ A Honolulu man has agreed to plead guilty to operating a gambling business that grossed $3 million between 2003 and 2005.
Yong Sang Kim will also forfeit more than $1 million in cash and property. He agreed to the plea deal last week.
In exchange, federal prosecutors will drop charges against his wife, Min Ju Kim.
Kim could be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison and fined up to $1 million.
The couple was indicted for allegedly running an illegal gambling business, conspiracy and money laundering.
According to court documents, the 24-hour, seven-days-a-week gambling operation called ``Sheridan Billiards'' accepted wagers on casino card games like baccarat and blackjack.
It also allegedly featured video poker and ``fruit'' slot machines.
