Kee Beach on Kauai reopened

HAENA, Hawaii (AP) _ Officials on Kauai say Kee Beach was reopened yesterday. The beach was closed Thursday after a shark was seen in the area. According to Ocean Safety officials, a 6- to 7-foot blacktip shark was spotted in the lagoon during the afternoon. Signs were posted in the area warning of the shark sighting and advising no swimming was allowed. (Copyright 2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved)
