HONOLULU (AP) _ Hollywood producers are spending record amounts of money filming television shows and movies in Hawaii.
Officials with the Hawaii Film Office say producers spent 200 million dollars in the state last year, beating the previous record of 164 million dollars in 2004.
The state two years ago boosted tax incentives to attract producers, who can now get up to a 20 percent rebate on production costs. The movie ``Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End'' and the ABC television show ``Lost'' were among the productions that filed for state tax credits last year.
