Sean Penn demonstrates at court martial for Iraq war objector

FORT LEWIS, Wash. (AP) _ Actor Sean Penn spoke to a rally yesterday in support of Lieutenant Ehren Watada at a park near Fort Lewis, Washington. That's where Watada's court martial is being conducted. Penn and others stood in front of a banner saying ``Support Ehren Watada.'' The crowd sang, ``Give Peace a Chance.'' And some carried signs, reading, ``Protest is Patriotic.'' Other Watada supporters lined a nearby overpass over I-Five with signs and flags. Critics of Watada also held signs in a smaller group.
