KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (AP) _ A man hit a 26-year-old with a baseball bat and demanded that he hand over his PlayStation 3 video game console.
Police say the attacker got out of his sport utility vehicle and hit the victim in the left arm with the bat.
The victim's 16-year-old brother was able to take the bat away from the attacker, who then returned to his S-U-V and drove away.
Big Island police say they are investigating the crime, and they have the vehicle's license plate number.
The victim complained of pain in his left arm but refused further treatment.
The PlayStation 3 costs between 499 dollars and 599 dollars and has been in short supply nationwide.
